The family came with a wish to build a classic brick house, simple in space and shape. For this project, they had already prepared a rather complicated plot of land on an elevated slope above the village. Because of the high demands on the complementary programme, the architects designed a building divided into two masses: a brick dwelling house with a gable roof, which is interspersed with the single-storey mass of a wooden "barn".

The living area is essentially a plain and clean archetype of a house with classic village dirty white plaster and a main cornice. The ground floor is where all family life takes place and the attic, on the other hand, is dedicated to individual activities.
